Exciting Day

Jommy’s Flights were coming together slowly. Over this past week, I missed a lot of sleep, worked through some computer issues, rewrote a scene, and focused on formatting. I took some time and went to a fair, something I always enjoy; petting animals and looking over interesting things.

By the time I came back and looked over the manuscript again, I knew what I needed to do and plowed through. By this morning, I was submitting it to Amazon. The print version will be available as soon as it is done processing.

I was worried because my regular job is starting to make noise, rumbles in the background, distracting and intruding on the writing. I needed to get it done so I could switch focus and get the sleep I need to move forward. Writing and editing is an intense process and it is consuming. My regular job is also filled with challenges, nobody ever said teaching was easy.

Finally the books are done, I can think about the school year, and concentrate on a little promotion of my own and hiring someone to do a little more. I hope people enjoy The Hunter and Jommy’s Flights. As people read them, I would love to know your thoughts.
