Vehicles
Anyone who drives a car, truck, or gas powered vehicle has experienced the heart bump of when it acts up and something is not working right. Maybe it makes a noise, or a light comes on unexpectedly. Sometimes the engine dies, or it farts and emits a foul stench in a black cloud. Someone I know was driving and their hood flew up and flames shot out the side. Yikes, I think I would have needed some help after that one.
Lately I have a bit of a challenge with my preferred vehicle. It has a gas problem. Not the belchy kind or black cloud of smoke, but something is in her lines and blocking the flow of gas to the engine, so at odd times, she dies. It seems that going up hill is harder, but then if she dies going downhill, I coast and pull over more easily. She has been to get service twice and they have been unable to fix her. We are trying someone new next. Of course these last times they were distracted by the broken gas gauge, telling me to add gas.
The gas gauge is part of the gas pump, so as soon as the pump breaks the gas gauge will get replaced, until them it reads below zero. Driving my car means you have to remember when you put in gas, how far you have traveled, and how much gas you have left. Hey, it works fine unless it dies in the intersection. Yeah, I should probably get that fixed soon. Maybe on this next paycheck.
Would having a big animal like the giant cattle of NewEarth be easier? Just think if they decided to stop and eat…
Read to a happy place and be grateful if your vehicle works.
