Getting the Nails Done

It has been way too long since I had my nails done. It has been long enough that my cuticles are torn up, my nails are peeling, and I am tired of my hands always hurting. After thinking about it, I decided I needed to prioritize my needs a bit more, so I planned to go on Saturday to get them done between one thing and another.

Saturday came and I wasn’t feeling so well. Instead of going out, I cleaned the house, shampooed the carpets, got rid of as much dust, pollen, and whatnot as I could. So today, I started looking for a place that could do my nails, a simple no chip manicure. Not anything fancy or time consuming, but important to the health of my hands.

I found one, close to the house, not too expensive, and the reviews were good. I called they suggested I come by in 20 minutes. I was there, but every seat was filled, people were waiting, only the husband and wife were working. The woman called out and asked if I had an appointment. I told her no, but I had called. She looked around with a tense expression. I waved as I left, telling her no problem.

I went home and made an appointment. Walking welcome does not mean the same thing as I have a 3 o’clock appointment with Sandy.

Read to a happy place, and make an appointment at the nail salon. 🤣😂😁
