Progress
Someone recently asked me if I was worried abut what someone else might think about a decision I made. It made me stop and think, not because I was concerned about what they would think, but because it was an interesting point. Other people have always judged me, often harshly, usually with no understanding of what I was thinking or doing, or what my end goal might be. I gave up worrying about them and their thoughts and concentrated on measuring my own progress and my own goals. But every once in awhile it pays to check in and course correct as needed.
That is pretty similar to how Grabon and Heron function in my stories. They are two independent minded individuals determined to move things along. They may have gotten those character traits from me, as I tend to drive my life forward, measuring progress in small and large steps. I also have my goals in the front of my thought most of the time.
