Ants

Last night as Shawn was enjoying a cigarette at the end of the evening, long after dark, he noticed a movement on the sidewalk and asphalt of the driveway. He called me out, and we peered together at the small bodies moving as a unit.

Fortunately, we had a good household bug killer. The ants were large… for ants; and while we had no trouble killing them, I was glad they weren’t spiders, or ticks, or something worse.

The lesson here is always have a good supply of pest killer because when you least expect it, some vile little colony of pests will amass right outside your door.
