New Characters

As the author and creator of NewEarth I feel like I am always expanding the caste of characters, bringing in new people, adding to the reader’s knowledge of characters that were less prominent. We created the character maps to help readers keep track of who is a dragon, who is human and who is connected to whom.

Of course there are direct connections like Hess and Tad being brothers, and there are less direct connections like Porter and Heron coming from the same line, basically they are second cousins and had never met before Porter arrived.

In The Hunter, Mox is not connected to any of the residence in the Combined Territories when she arrives. Neither is Phriss, or Fost when they first make their appearances, but they soon develop connections that become important.

The number of characters grows and grows with each story and as far as I can tell it does not get any easier. That’s why I include character charts in each book and on the website we do the pictorial graphs. I was thinking we could have those graphs printed on photo paper and use them as giveaways in our drawings.

If you are wondering how to get included in the drawings, simply add your name and information to the Newsletter list. We send things out every month; sometimes a book, sometimes a printing of one of the NewEarth Illustrations. We add different things from time to time.
