The Great Job Hunt

So I have officially begun the search and my inbox is flooded with suggestions, most of them not at all helpful as I am not inclined to get my CDL license nor am I interested in driving for Uber. I did see a post for an exotic dancer, an experience librarian and even a dog catcher. Although to be honest there were plenty of positions for special education teachers in public as well as private settings, full and what they pay for in part time. I know that those positions are 60-90 hours a week, mentally and emotionally drIning and while I love that work, I am looking for something different at this time.

I was a little worried about it looking like I wasted the last 2 years not working in my field, but it shows pretty clearly that I was writing and keeping busy. My wish is to find a position in a supported living facility, possibly a memory care place or maybe some other facility where they need someone who is good at modifying and adapting activities for various abilities and disabilities. That sounds like it would be fun. Anyway, wish me luck and I am keeping my mind open to other possibilities as I look. Suggestions are welcome!

I will, I always do, it is just a matter of making decisions, doing research and checking things off. Adventure is in my blood and while I may be getting older, the blood is still leaping. Have a great day and stay out of the white stuff. I hear it is headed our way.
