Frustration

I am waiting for my editor too return book 7 so I can get started on making changes. The last two re-writes take time and I did not want to be working over the holidays. She has had it since the beginning of October.

However, she has many other clients, she just had a major death in her family, and she is notoriously late, with everything.

I know all of that and stick with her because, well- she is good and works with my writing without trying to influence my style. She understands the story of NewEarth and the depth of characters, symbolism, and nuances without me having to point them out, at least most of the time.

So I may be frustrated, Book 7 may have to come out a few days or even a week late, but I want it to be the best book possible. Getting upset does not solve the problem and it certainly does not make me feel good. Brom and Mox the main characters for Book 7 deserve the best launch and the best editing, so I need to be patient. Does anybody know where to buy a pound of patience? I’d like to add it to my Christmas list.
