Door Cover

I enjoy Christmas, all the flash, color and decoration. The music is eclectic and fun, the spirit of the holiday is always a celebration which feeds my determined positive outlook, my personal armor against depression.

This year we found a door cover on sale, really very cheap, a Christmas scene, it lights up, plays music, is sound activated. Instead of removing a wreath, we put it on the pantry door. Every time someone coughs, laughs, bangs a pot, or makes a sudden noise like scraping a chair on the floor, or farting loudly, it belts out a Christmas song, sparkles and shines lights. Yeah, I turned it off. It is almost as bad as this laughing monkey a student bought me years ago. He rolls around on the floor, randomly turning on and giggling. He is shut off too.
