Coming Home
After a whirlwind trip back to Missouri to clean and grab the last of everything, taking a shower in my own warm bathroom was wonderful. The old farm house always had its charms, but central heat was not one of them. The bathroom was one of the coldest rooms in the house.
We are so lucky that the new house has central heat, a thermostat, and lots of hot water. Sometimes the little things make a big difference. When we first moved in I discovered that the hot water heater was turned way down and I could put it at medium to high. What a difference that makes.
Shortly, I am going to start carting in bins, messing things up again, before I begin the job of making order out of chaos. Little by little everything is being shifted to where it belongs, but it is backbreaking work. Maybe today I’ll remember the Tylenol before I start. Always a good plan, but seldom do I remember.
We have a possibility of getting living room furniture today. Keep your fingers crossed!
Hey, the sun is out, no freezing rain or blowing snow and we may drive to a destination but we get to sleep in our own bed. 😃😃😃
