Challenges *book 6 info

 In book 6: Acceptance, the territory develops the challenge field. To clarify, Grabon and Heron spent many cycles fighting challenges in other territories. Heron was known as a fierce pet, fighting by Grabon’s side against teams of challengers. He even fought challenges alone against dragons who were determined to test his skill and suspected that Grabon was the one directing his actions. Most often they won, which provoked more challenges and greater wins. The betting on challenges allowed a Heron and Grabon to collect a great many territory coins.

When the challenge field is put to use in Grabon’s Territory for the first time, there is some conflict because Grabon and Heron were hoping to avoid sport challenges between the species. However once it is inevitable, it is obvious that all of the dragons are well aware of Grabon and Heron’s skills as well as anxious to keep building their own. The humans are quick to catch on and it seems inevitable that Grabon’s Territory is going to become known for its challenges.
