Progress

I sent off The Hunter yesterday to Jo, my editor. It is the story of Brom, his place in Grabon and Heron’s clan, and the mate that comes to complete him.

It has a few other stories woven inside, a few more characters that are introduced, and it expands some familiar characters so the reader gets to know them better.

After Heron is recognized and chosen by the council in book6, his place beside Grabon finally expands to his potential. Now that he and Grabon are no longer pretending not to be the fighters they are, even more of their personalities and abilities are apparent. As they embrace all that they can be, so does their clan.

This new freedom is felt by everyone, even the visitors. To some it is intimidating, to others it is a comfort. For The Combined Territories it is But one more step in the development of a clan that has the potential to avert a conflict, or start one.
