Gordon’s Pride

The first book of the NewEarth Series is all about the characters. It is about Hanna, the goldcrafter with poor self confidence and a skill that leaves everyone else speechless.

It is Gordon, ostracized because the amount of psychic power he has is intimidating to most humans, even those in his own family.

It is Heron, a human who has traveled with a dragon for 30 cycles, running messengers for some Farmers but mostly living in isolation.

It is Grabon, a maturing dragon, worried about his companion and ready to establish a territory of his own.

There are other characters; the world of NewEarth is rich with interesting people. The threats of death and destruction are no joke and some of the scenes are grim and disturbing.

Through it all there is a sense of family, and not only among the people who are related.

The emotional  voyage moves from surprise, shock, grief, healing and most of all love and acceptance.
