Dragons

I was in a discussion recently about what animal behavior prompted the development of Anne McCaffrey’s dragons. Was it cats? Horses? It was a discussion that was fun and entertaining, but it made me realize that my dragons are modeled after humans, but not entirely. I used some sealion and whale behaviors, some predatory 🦅, even some wolf behaviors as guides. Among the animals of NewEarth, the lower species, I used a lot of other OldEarth examples and models, but dragons are the most complex, with many behaviors similar to humans, but not all of them.
