Packing and Planning
Yesterday, I joyfully released the 5th book of the NewEarth Series to walk alone in the world. Last night, Shawn and I celebrated and went out for a wonderful dinner. Today we shopped and got things ready for our trip. We leave on Wednesday. First to see my parents, drop off Jethro and mosey on to Denver for the RWA conference. While visiting my folks I am hoping to get some chores done for them and ensure that they are as comfortable and as safe as possible. That being said I am anticipating packing conference clothes and work clothes.
Does anyone else get accused of packing too many clothes? My husband is really good about it, but he looks at what I have set aside and shakes his head. How many days is this conference? He asks, looking somewhat mystified.
I will never be one of those people who travels with a backpack. Honestly, my pills and toiletries wouldn’t fit in a backpack, unless it was a fairly large pack, built to take camping for a week or more. That I might be able to squeeze some of my necessities into, but never all of them.
