💥 Fireworks 💥

We had a great time with our own display as well as watching others. The colors were brilliant, the booms loud and the smell of spent gunpowder are somehow all tangled up in the idea of freedom in America. Like many of our neighbors we took some care not to start a fire. We also managed not to blow us up in the pursuit of happiness and a light show.

The summer zucchini squash was really good; cut up, egg battered and rolled in panko and air fried. It went well with our pork steaks, chicken and other delicacies. Like a million others, we did our cooking outside to avoid heating the house.

Now I suppose I need to buckle in and start formatting book 5 so it can reach readers as quickly as possible.

I am working on it. Files are in for approval, maybe tomorrow, maybe Saturday, longer for the kindle version as I do print first. It all depends on how things come together and if I need to make changes.
