Lightning Strikes

They say it is impossible to predict, and that may be true but we are so lucky. We were up before eight, standing in the front doorway watching the storm when lightning struck the house. We all jumped, Shawn and I, the dog and believe it or not the cows in the field next to our house. It tripped breakers, fried our modem and took out our phone. Currently I am using a Walmart connection to post. We should be operational by Saturday morning. Our communication network Century Link was wonderful after I was able to finally speak to a person. They have expedited shipping and are sending out a replacement. Anyway, we are feeling incredibly lucky that nothing else major happened. We lost one light switch, modem and our phone extensions but that seems to be all. Have a wonderful start to the weekend and we will update as we can.
