Acceptance

One of the themes for Healing, NewEarth4, is acceptance. It is a theme that continues to reoccure in the series, so don’t be surprised when you see it again. Acceptance for LeeAnn involves more than a reluctant welcome. It involves providing for Golly’s needs as well as her own need to heal, to love, and to trust again. In her own family she did not have a firm place once her power exceeded that of her parents abilities. The compulsion to heal, to mend what is broken is as strong as her connection to the planet which she barely understands. Her need for love, is not only romantic and that of a mate, but friendship and belonging within a group are just as important. Trust would be difficult for her when she has lost so much faith in the kindness of others. Acceptance is very important to LeeAnn and not something she takes lightly.
