Ethics

Someone asked about the ethics of NewEarth, and I chuckled. Not because I was amused by the person, but the question is amusing. There is no single ethical base among a diverse group of people, certainly not between two species. There is the ethics a person claims and that which they practice. Among humans and dragons both they are often very different. Before you argue and twist yourself in a knot, think of how many people you know who profess to believe that lying is wrong, yet lie on a daily if not hourly basis. Deception is part of the human condition, yet people moralize about it to varying degrees.
