Spring

Buds are swelling, grass is turning green, leaves are poking out of the newly thawed ground. Some days are cold while others merely chilly and the days are noticeably longer. The season has definitely changed. In celebration we have two new little calves wandering beside their mothers here on the farm. The arrival of spring is being heralded by birds and bushes, trees and squirrels everywhere there are signs of the rebirth and growth. Daffodils are nodding in the cold light of day and a grin lights my heart. Welcome spring, settle in and make the world I know bloom.
