Greet the Day

The best way to start any day is with a grin and a slow start. Unlike some people, I do not enjoy rolling out of bed into a quick shower, hopping into clothes and rolling out the door. I am more of a meaner into the kitchen, pick out my flavor of coffee and inhale the aroma as it starts to brew. Then with warm cup in hand, I stand on the porch and enjoy the birds, bunnies and squirrels before I turn on my computer to see if my characters staged a revolt. If I must run in the morning to get somewhere, I’ll get up an hour earlier, so I have my time to greet the day the way I most enjoy.
